ELECTROLIQUID AGGRIGATION

ELECTROLIQUID AGGRIGATION

Inspiration from Walter Burley Griffin and Moshe Safdie

Griffin: Architecture is an abstract appeal to human capacity to judge time and space

Safdie: Architecture must cope with rapid urban growth, congestion and resisting the dehumanisation of the environment

=

Through the human capacity to perceive time and space, architecture can be manipulated to cope with urban growth, congestion and the dehumanisation of the natural environment.

MATERIALS: TIMBER GLASS STEEL

DATUM: WOOD

WORD: STRUCTURE

MATERIALS: CONCRETE GRANITE STEEL

The main materials [wood and concrete] both reflect the natural environment of the building's location and terrain. Wood, a product of forests from the land and concrete, made of minerals from the earth.
By using these materials, the work creates an idea and sense that the building is an architectural manifestation of the land.
